RANDY POWELL

(Inspector Lestrade, Orderly, Shadowy Figure)  I am absolutely chuffed to be participating in this show! The cast and crew have all been delightful. This is my eleventh show on the peninsula, and each one gets more fun. When I’m not policing the streets of London, I manage an old house where I grow a few onions, some potatoes, and lots of dandelions. Thank you for watching our hard work come to life, and for supporting The Playhouse.

The Foreigner

(Owen Musser) This is Randy’s tenth play on the peninsula, and he claims each one has been rewarding.  “Although this role may be the most unsavory character I’ve ever played, I’m grateful for the chance to help make this show come to life.” When not acting, he hosts foreigners (aka out-of-state tourists,) develops novel potato cultivars, and works on one of the oldest houses on the peninsula (1896!)  Sadly, it seems like racism has reared it’s ugly head again in this country, so he finds it an honor to be a part of a production that takes a stand against it.  “Thanks for coming to our show! “
