Sean C Stone – (Mellersh) has been a community actor off and on for just over twenty years in various theaters in King County and Clallam and am a trained Voiceover artist/actor and Sound editor/mixer. He has performed in more than 15 plays, including A Lion In Winter and A Rented Christmas. Sean says he is a single madman insomniac with a brain that doesn’t shut up. Loves reading, hiking, martial arts, nerdy stuff like video games and DnD. He writes, loves philosophy, acting obviously, fighting for workplace justice with unions. Sean has a cat and says he is mostly a good boy. His parents live in Sequim, divorced, but friendly to each other. As the eldest son of two, I do my best to keep an eye on my parents as they get older. Sean has had a very adventurous life and has many stories to tell.
Of his role in Enchanted April, Sean says Mellersh is a product of his time. A male in a single earning household, educated, and focused on his career, and like most Brits at the time, must keep up appearances. His wife is an accessory to that ambition and forgets in the wild chase for success that she has her own needs and ambitions. Mellersh rediscovers not only his wife’s glowing independence and power but also rediscovers his own joy and inspiration. In our own lives , relationships should be about being stronger together than apart. Don’t be quick to leave your partners (unless it’s a toxic and abusive situation) and find ways to redeem the relationship. I hope the audience has a good time and takes away the positive meaning of love and redemption.
