The Odd Couple (Female Version)

By Neil Simon

Directed by Dmitri Gerasimenko

Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon’s hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Trivial Pursuit is their game of choice, and the hilarity is anything but trivial when the Constanzuela brothers pay a visit.

A couple of odd things about this production:

It was supposed to be the male version – however, more women than men showed up to audition.

It starts on a Tuesday night (which means it’s $8 at the door on opening night) plus we added a Thursday performance on December 1.

I Hate Hamlet

By Paul Rudnik

Directed by Barb Frederick

Andrew Rally seems to have it all. There are, however, a couple of glitches in paradise. Andrew’s series has been canceled; his girlfriend is clinging to her virginity with unyielding conviction; and he has no desire to play Hamlet, in which he has been cast. When Andrew’s agent reminisces about her brief romance with John Barrymore many years ago, in the same apartment, it prompts a seance to summon his ghost. From the moment Barrymore returns, dressed in high Shakespearean garb, Andrew’s life is no longer his own.
